Your radiation oncologist will also track your progress through weekly face to face review sessions.
Allied healthcare professionals who work with radiation oncologists to plan and deliver the daily radiation treatment under the doctor's prescription and supervision. These therapists are responsible for both the calculation and delivery of each patient's personal radiation dose.
These three professional groups radiation oncologists, radiation therapists and radiation oncology medical physicists all work together using the latest technology to deliver highly accurate treatment to patients with cancer, caring for them whilst they undergo treatment.
RADIATION ONCOLOGY NURSES

RECEPTION AND ADMINISTRATION STAFF
The reception and administration staff notify the clinical team when you arrive for your daily treatment and will work with you to help streamline your appointments. They are well practiced in patient advocacy by assisting you in the timely coordination of other medical and diagnostic appointments you may need to attend. They are a wealth of information on matters pertaining to any accommodation requirements you may have, logistics of day to day transport and any hospital admissions that may be necessary. They will also answer any questions you may have about Medicare and your accounts.
